Gebran Tueini Assassinated posted by LEB4EVER |

A loud explosion rocked the east Beirut suburb of Mkalles Monday morning, media reports said. They said a car bomb had been detonated and at least 3 people were killed including Member of Parliament Gebran Tueini, head of Al-Nahar newspaper and an eloquent writer. He was also a staunch advocate of human rights and Lebanese freedom. He is well known, just like other targets before him, for his anti-Syrian occupation stance. This is the 13th attack of this sort since the explosion that killed former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri on February 14th of 2005. May the soul of Gebran Tueni rest in peace. Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Gebran. We will never be silenced!
